About the estate and its guidelines.

The important details to know while planning your celebration.

What time does the estate close?

Amplified music concludes and the send-off begins at 8:30 PM. All guests must depart by 9:00 PM. Vendors may complete quiet cleanup until 10:00 PM, when the property must be fully cleared.

Can we choose our own vendors?

Yes. Couples may choose their own wedding professionals. A professional day-of or month-of coordinator is required, and higher-risk vendors must provide proof of insurance.

What happens if it rains?

The ceremony may be held beneath the covered reception area with guests seated at their reception tables and a central aisle created for the ceremony. The space does not accommodate separate, fully arranged ceremony and reception layouts simultaneously.

How are ceremony chairs handled?

The same estate chairs serve the ceremony and reception unless a separate ceremony set is rented. After the ceremony, the Blue Spring Estate team will move the provided chairs from the ceremony location to the reception area.

Is the reception area climate-controlled?

The reception area is a covered, open-air space without heating or air conditioning. Couples should plan for Tennessee's summer heat and winter temperatures. Approved rental fans or heaters may be brought in.

May we serve alcohol?

Yes. All alcohol must be controlled and served by a licensed, insured bartender. Self-service alcohol is not permitted. Last call is at 8:00 PM and the bar closes at 8:15 PM.

What do we need to provide?

Couples arrange their coordinator, catering, bar service, entertainment, sound equipment, place settings, serving supplies, drinking water, ice, décor, coolers, and specialty rentals. White linens are included. Caterers must arrive fully prepared because a commercial kitchen is not available.

Are pets welcome?

Leashed pets are welcome with prior approval and a dedicated handler. Pets may not be left unattended or enter restricted areas.

What décor is permitted?

Freestanding décor, Command Strips, and Command Velcro may be used on approved surfaces. Nails, screws, staples, glue, glitter, confetti, rice, and artificial petals are not permitted. Flameless LED candles are required.

What is required to reserve a date?

A signed agreement and nonrefundable 25% retainer reserve the date. The remaining balance, final guest count, vendor list, timeline, layout, and proof of event liability insurance are due 30 days before the wedding. A refundable $500 damage and excessive-cleanup deposit is also required.
